New CP editor-in-chief: Nerilie Abram

We warmly welcome Prof Nerilie Abram as a new member of the editorial board of Climate of the Past.

Nerilie, a research fellow at the Research School of Earth Sciences of the Australian National University, Canberra, is a renowned climate scientist working on Antarctic and tropical climate systems using Porites corals, speleothem samples from caves, and ice core samples to reconstruct past climate changes.

Nerilie is also a dedicated science communicator and she will be responsible, amongst other things, for the new Twitter account of Climate of the Past. She will certainly be a valuable addition to our editorial team.
