Thank you to Climate of the Past community
1 July 2021
To Climate of the Past authors, reviewers, editors, guest editors, and readers,
Clarivate Analytics just released its 2020 journal citation report, stating that Climate of the Past now has an impact factor of 4.295, the highest ranking ever since its launch in 2005!
This great success shows that Climate of the Past is an established and respected scientific journal in the paleoclimatology community. Such a result would not be possible without authors submitting their work to Climate of the Past, reviewers and editors volunteering their time and striving to keep the high standards of the journal, or our loyal readers who cite Climate of the Past papers. Climate of the Past is a team effort, and we are proud to collaborate with our dedicated editors, invited guest editors of Climate of the Past, and great Copernicus staff.
To all of you, a great and sincere thank you, and we look forward to your continuing support of Climate of the Past.
All the very best,
Nerilie Abram, Laurie Menviel, Marit-Solveig Seidenkrantz, and Denis-Didier Rousseau (co-editors in chief)
